There is a 'grown up' section where parents can set a timer on how long the app should remain open for, and individual shows can be filtered.
Many parents are already vigilant when it comes to the content their young children are viewing. However all too often parents find that their child has navigated elsewhere in the device whilst watching videos. This can be prevented by a simple 'phone lock.' The phone lock will prevent your child from answering incoming phone calls and much more. Check out the 'How To's' section below for more information.
It is your responsibility just as much as your parents to stay on top of how much time you are spending on your device. Make sure you are taking regular breaks and spending time with your family and friends.
1. Open the Settings app, tap Security, then tap Screen pinning—it’s located under the “Advanced” heading. Next, toggle the screen pinning toggle to the “on” position.
2. To use screen pinning, tap the Overview button (the square button in the lower right corner of your screen), and swipe up and down until you find the app you want to pin. Once you find the app you want to pin, tap the Pin button—it’s a blue-green button with a white pushpin on it.
3. When you’re ready to turn off screen pinning and move on to another app, hold down the Back (triangle) and Overview buttons at the same time for a second or two, until your phone tells you that it has unpinned the screen in question. There's even an option to require your security pin/password.
